Should I wear running shoes (nikes) designed for sprints on a track or football cleats on football field terf? Im doing sprint work FOR the football season? (I have access to both)

When you say running shoes, if you mean spikes like track athletes wear then no, if you mean simply running shoes that joggers would wear then yes. Spikes are very bad to train in because they are designed to be worn for very short periods of time. They have very little support for your feet and training in them can lead to injury. Training barefoot on grass will help strengthen your feet and legs but would probably have little benefit for football as far as speed. Ultimately i would say wear running shoes in all situations and avoid your football cleats til football season.

Nike Shox Ride or Tailwind. They both have plenty of cushioning & stability for many types of feet. With the tailwind, be careful not to puncture the bubble inside the heel cushion.

What is the best way to lacing method for running shoes?

I just bought a new pair of running shoes - Nike Shox 7 if it makes a difference. I would like to know how to properly lace the shoes for running purposes.

I have a tried and true method of lacing up your shoes to where they will not loosen if they become untied for any reason. The only time a shoe has come loose with this method was when someone stepped on the laces, and the shoe literally ripped in two, it was tied so well.

First, insert the end of the shoelace into the last ring on the shoe, so it forms a loop. Do this on both sides. The tip of the shoelace should be on the inside of the shoe after this step.

Repeat on the other side.

Take the two shoelaces, and cross them over, lacing them into the loop you just formed on the opposite side of the shoe.

Pull so the loops disappear and you are left with the shoelaces ready for tying in a normal shoelace knot.

Tie and adjust the shoelaces so they are tight, and you are ready to go!

Can i wash running shoes (Nike Vomero 4s) in the wash machine?

Please understand what type of shoes these are before you answer. They're expensive running shoes by Nike and are like other running shoes on the market- they have a mesh upper.

These are getting pretty dirty already and I was just wondering if it was safe to wash them in the wash machine or will it have longterm effects/damage to them?

If they are that good, they should have came with instructions for cleaning.
I would wash them gentle cycle and just warm water.
Then let them air dry, no dryer.
