Nike Free Run 5.0+ or Nike Flex Run 2013?

I need a new pair of sneakers for a 5k I'm running, and I have no idea what the pros and cons are of either. So far, I'm leaning towards the free runs. Thanks!

i bought the flex run 2013 took about 3 days to get used to it
and they are quite good for running i do my 5ks in them
pros are they are nice and lite and omg they are breathable my feet feel free and it doesnt feel hot in the shoes
cons would be well im not sure if its just mmy feet or my product was defected
but i felt that the right shoe had less arch support than the left
and i honestly cannot remember but i think i started to develop a problem with the ball of my foot because of this

What are some low profile running shoes comparable to these specific examples?

For example/reference, I really love these shoes:

Asics Mexico 66 white with blue stripes
Puma Fast Cat black on white,
"2013 Converse Pro Star Retro Casual Sports Shoes Black" (Which I have only been able to find on one site using this exact name)

I bought the Pumas, I plan on buying the converse, but the Asics are discontinued and really expensive/really hard to find now. The main things I'm looking for are the low profile sleek design with a slim sole and a little bit of color or side design. I've browsed several shoe stores and haven't been able to find anything that fits what I'm looking for. I'm looking for any advice about brands or styles to check out as well as keywords to help me find what I'm looking for.

I'm not going to lie here - if you're buying your running shoes based on what they look like or how well they coordinate with your outfit, then you're doing it wrong.

Buy your running shoes based on how well they fit you and how well they fit the type of training that you're using them for, not based on what they look like. If you focus on what they look like over what they feel like or whether or not they suit your training then you'll probably end up injured because of them.

My advice for you is to go to a running shoe store and get properly fitted for a set of running shoes that go well with both your feet and your running goals and training. Don't get suckered by nice looks or brand names.

Are barefeet running shoes any different from casual shoes?

I have a wornout-ish pair of vans that i run in. it feels decent and i can definitely feel grass patches. is there any point of buying running shoes that give you a "barefoot like feel" im asking this because i want to buy a pair of nike flex 2013 running shoes.

Only in that they look about 5 times stupider than just going barefoot, and at least 10 times as stupid as just about anything else you can put on your feet, even if you're a clown.

How to spot fake Nike Air Max 2013 shoes?

Bought a pair from ebay (from the US) and the price was a little lower than what most go for so that was the first reason I became skeptical. Received them and something seems very off about them. The color of the shoe isn't a color I am familiar with, it seems to be a mix between emerald and neo turquoise which I didn't think was made, and the sole is a slightly off version of that color which doesn't seem right either. The sole where the Nike+ sensor goes is very poorly made and that appears to be one of the obvious spots that give it away. The insoles are very flimsy and made of a weird material that looks recycled? They are not marked with a Nike logo anywhere, just an Asian character. Everything about the shoe seems a bit off, for being brand new top of the line Nike running shoes. Anyone have any good tips on what EXACTLY to look for when comparing?

Im going to Europe late june-early july and don't want to look too much like the clueless tourist that I am, so nothing major, just the basics, such as "don't wear athletic shorts"
specific countries are france, italy, austria, and switzerland, and any specifics on cargo shorts and stripes on shirts?
and were planning on doing lots of walking, so good walking shoe recommendations as well are much appreciated

Specific style tips depend on what country you're in, but in general wear:
-neutrals like biege, white, brown, black, tan
-no running shoes.
-no sports team ball caps or T shirts like Miami Heat or the Green Bay Packers or anything. Unless you wear something soccer related
-leather is big. Leather jackets.
-Basic V neck t shirts with blue jeans
-loose hair. Don't cut it too short, don't use too much gel
-for dinner, do a t shirt and a sports coat
-sunglasses.
-cigarette.

How many bottles of FabriClear spray does it take to treat one bed or one bedroom?

We have a three-bedroom house and a bedbug problem. I've been looking into the use of FabriClear spray, but I'm wondering how much of one bottle does it take to treat one bed or one bedroom. Anyone here have any experience with this product?

I would not advise this. Youre wasting your time. there was recently a court case in the USA about that OTHER bedbug spray they said killed bedbugs and was organic.. and what ever..
People WON the lawsuit. It did NOT work.

This stuff sounds just like it.

You can not get rid of bedbugs by common products or procedures.
You have to jump on it with BOTH FEET, with professionals and do it right the first time.
It must be followed up at least a second time.
The biggest mistake people make is thinking its easy to get rid of, like food bugs or even ants.

ITS NOT. Because they made all the effective poisons ILLEGAL years ago, bed bugs are harder to get rid of than cockroaches !
BEDBUGS CAN LIVE FOR OVER A YEAR INSIDE A WALL even without getting fed. ( fact)
Sun does not kill bed bugs ( fact)
Steam only kills bugs and eggs that it TOUCHES... so getting inside upholstered furniture with steam is ineffective.
the poison only kills what it can touch too, and typical the poisons they are using only last 20 days. A second treatment WITHIN twenty days is the health department's policy.
If you dont do both... dont bother doing just one. There is no point.

Thermo treatment works on furniture, I think its 140 ' F for as many hours you need to penetrate, but it does not clear your home because they run from the heat and they ARE FAST.

The best thing you absolutely can do...
is treat everything properly right down to your tea towels and shoes, chuck all pillows, bag all beds, get a poison with a long residual, and follow the advice of these videos for detection and traps and procedures that are PROVEN TO WORK.

If you dont jump on it with both feet the problem will be HARDER, later.
And please take precautions so you dont spread them.
