Is there a deep symmetry principle at work in US politics?

Hillary Clinton was the shoe in candidate -- "inevitable" that's what they said.

Suddenly at the last possible moment arises Obama, out of nowhere, the buffoon candidate, who she didn't even bother to run against in the primaries, thinking him a nullity, thinking him so obviously unqualified that even the most un-informed voter would see him as utterly unqualfied and vote for her instead.

Didn't happen.

He won, she lost.

Now for the symmetry, mathematically this is such perfect symmetry it looks like what we woodworkers call a butterfly pattern.

Comes now Pawlenty, or maybe Jindal, or maybe Romney to be the GOP candidate in 2012. And they are "inevitable" clearly the right person to represent to GOP against Obama.

And suddenly, out of nowhere comes Sarah Palin, the buffoon candidate, clearly a ditsy airhead even dumber than was shown on SNL.

But, all the GOP hopefuls go down, and Sarah Palin is the choice of the primary voters.

So far, I hope you see the perfect butterfly symmetry here. I am a mathematician, but one need not be a mathematician to see this.

There are 40 million people in the "We Want to Be Trailer Trash" movement in USA. They are the militant trailer trash on the march. They are very proud, extremely cohesive, every single one has their NASCAR jacket with the Dale Jr. patch. All the men have ducks tail hairdos. The women call themselves "red neck women". They love the stars and bars to irritate to people driving behind them.

These are radical militant as*h**es on the march, and there are 40 million of them, and they are voting for Sarah Palin -- one of their own.

So, here's what true:

2012 is plainly a GOP opportunity. Obama has messed up bigtime. He's a Marxist. People know it now. They don't want a Marxist President.

But because of the principle of symmetry the GOP is doomed to have a clowny bozo airhead take over the top of their ticket in 2012, who Obama with all his many deficiencies will have no trouble beating like a rug.

You get right -- this is something that only mathematicians can see -- we Mandelbrot types -- we fractal geometers. We can see it, but it's invisible to mankind, until the news report the amazing (again) facts.

Answer
Politics is not mathematics. It has no logic, it is chaos based on emotions and great marketing. The better marketer always wins and Obama had the best marketing campaign. Fractals have logic & purpose which can be seen throughout nature but politics is not natural.

Why are some Clinton backers voting McCain?

i am a huge supporter of Hillary, let me just say that first. i want nothing more than her as my president.

however, all this time we have been saying that we choose hillary becuz we think she is better than obama. she has more experience, she knows all of the issues. you can ask her anything on the spot, and the women has a clear and precise answer. we have been saying all along that obama doesnt have the knowledge or the experience like Hillary does.

so some backers are voting mccain so that she can run again 2012. mccain is a 1 term prez giving her a huge advantage in 2012.

well, if we were so confident that Obama was going to suck, then why would you put your democrat values aside and vote mccain? wouldnt hillary have the same chances of winning in 2012 going up against obama?

unless you think he might do a good job and you are worried?

i just dont get it.........

i am confident that no matter who Hillary goes up against in 4 years, she is a shoe-in.
Hoping For Change~ how the heck did you get racist outa my question. im guessing you cant read between the lines so i'll dumb it down for you- i am a former Hillary supporter, voting for Obama. i am trying to figure out why more clinton supporters arent doing the same.

Answer
I've felt since the beginning that Bill and Hillary are moving behind the scenes to fulfill their own agenda...I'm not kidding either

1) Bill doesn't like Obama, everyone knows it
2) If Obama loses, Hillary can run in 2012, McCain has already said that he will only serve one term
3) Hillary's closest friends and top campaign supporters have said publicly that they are voting for McCain, among them Lynn Forester de Rothschild, John Coale and Hillary's own brother
4) Bill has spoken positively about Palin AND McCain, yet negatively about Obama
5) Biden is a CLOSE friend of Hillary's...And we all know what he's been saying...
6) Hillary backing out of the Anti-Iran rally made Obama look bad, and caused the rally organizers to UNinvite ALL "political personalities"...That didn't sit well with the Jewish community

Think about it
