I live in lancaster , PA and it is really hard to find sandals that cover up my bunions and dont irritate them either. The only kind i can find are flats by blowfish, but im not particuaraly looking for flats. Thanks;

I've got one foot with bunion, the other I had surgery done. With that, I end up getting bursitis that's why I'm contemplating having the other surgery done. I now sleep with a pillow to prevent bursitis from happening, between my hubby and me, and one on my left.
I wear all types of sandals, thongs are my favorites, and I can wear 3" heels once in awhile, because I love shoes. I've also started wearing mules, or wide toe shoes, just no tennis shoes or athletic shoes. I can wear laced up boots, etc, just not athletic type shoes.
Best answer is to try them on yourself, if you're going to cover up your bunion it will only squeeze them and hurt even more. Nordstrom's Rack, Marshall's, are good sources to find comfortable shoes.
Buyer beware when it comes to buying shoes online, and I do not rec. using PayPal. I got screwed, took 3 years for my credit.
I bought 2 pair of shoes, $700 worth @ Zappos, where they have free shipping & free returns. I am a 5 1/2, so I bought a size 6. Returned them. Ordered a 5, too small. I saved $700.
I went to Nordstrom's, they're having shoe sales. Found 2 shoes, both less than $300. Both were rated as 'best comfortable shoes for walking'. BTW: I wore one of the boots for 4 hours, and I didn't even do that much walking, mostly standing on the same spot . . . . and I was already limping. I took it back the following day!
My son bought a pair of Nike beach sandals. They didn't come in his size, so he bought the one larger. They weren't sold in stores! He was walking around sandals too big, only because he didn't want to pay for return shipping and re-stocking fees.
Shoes that are good for some, may hurt your feet. Just saying!

How to prevent blisters from sperry topsiders?

I recently bought a pair of sperry topsiders (the women's angelfish). I have worn them several times, and each time I wear them they cause terrible blisters on my heels. I tried putting moleskin inside the shoe where it rubs, but this has not helped. I really like these shoes, but this problem is making them unwearable! Please help!

Are you wearing socks?
Some people can't wear athletic shoes because of bunion, me for instance, but I can wear any other type of shoes, boots, sandals.
Sperry is another, and I used to wear them, but they're too narrow for me and hurts like hell!
It's possible you can't wear certain shoes because of blisters. Not a good sign!
