What shoes should I wear in Disney World?

I have gone to Disney World 5 times and every time I have worn sneakers and when I would I would get dressed, I would hate the way my sneakers looked with the outfit I was wearing. I just want to hear your story as to what shoes you wore to disney world and if it was a good experience or not... Please be specific about brand or style... ie please don't say you wore "flip flops" because that isn't helpful with all of the different kinds of flip flops out there :)
P.S. I walk in Disney from opening to closing and they don't have to be water proof because I don't go on any water rides there.

honestly the best shoes to wear are athletic walking/running SNEAKERS. (nike, new balance, easy spirit, champion.....)
what are you wearing that sneakers don't look good with???
sneakers look fine with the types of clothes you SHOULD be wearing such as jeans, capris, shorts, t-shrits, tank tops, hoodies.....

What type/brand of walking show for men would you suggest for a week at Disney World?

We are spending 7 days at Walt Disney World in May 2012. Both of us are looking into the best walking show for men. A shoe that offers high comfort, reduction of impact, breathable fabric and under $100. Some have suggested Sketcher's Shape-Ups or the Reebok version. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

well i wouldn't recommend the "shape up" type of shoes cuz you are getting a work out from wearing them which can make your muscles so to begin with just with regular walking, just imagine how your muscles will feel after walking in them around disney world. plus you have to be able to feel balanced in them which can be a lot of work depending on where your center of gravity is so not feeling stable would not be a good thing either.

as far as the brand i have no preference. my personal opinion is whatever brand feels comfortable on your foot. just make sure that its an athletic walking/running sneaker. and you better get out there trying on shoes now cuz you're gonna want to break them in a bit before you just head off to disney world where you will be walking MILES each and every day.
