hillary need to keep her support for 2012. if hillary was to run on Obama's ticket as the veep, and scenario 1, Obama wins in november, she is screwed out of ever becoming president because (a) Obama failed policies will make Bush look like FDR, and will lose in 2012 in a landslide to the GOP or (b) she can't seek the nomination until 2016 (because you can't run against the incumbent of your party if they seek re-election) and then all the libearals who claimed McCain was too old would have to eat a little crow( which wouldn't be a problem for them, history has shown us that the dems don't care when the shoe is on the other foot [just look at Bill Clinton, and then look at all the speculation and outrage at McCains supposed affair with a lobbyist]) or scenario 2, Obama and Hillary will lose in November, and in the history of our great nation, only once has someone who was beaten in the general election actually succeeded in winning the next election. and I'm sorry but while i see Hillary possibly winning in 2012 if she does not run on Obama's ticket now, i don't see her doing so if she does and loses this year. and writing history as the first female president is possible, i don't think you could count on that and matching another feat only seen once in America at the same time.

If the Republicans win, then HIllary can't run on the platform of cracking the glass ceiling for women and the feminist movement in 2012. If the Republicans win, McCain will be a one term president given his age and Palin may run for the president. So then Palin and Hillary will split the women's vote.
So I"m guessing that if the Republicans win, Hillary chances for ever being president will be eliminated.

In a sense yes. But Hillary has more to her, than just being a woman. She is strong and has some good ideas. It all depends on, if the McCain/Palin ticket does well for our country, and not the same tired politics. If they do well, Sarah Palin will be a shoe in 2012
