I need help finding good running shoes, any ideas? please something under 70 dollars.

Running shoes or cross country spikes?
You will need to get running shoes at a running specialty store that will see what shoes are good for your foot. Otherwise you might get injured if you get the wrong shoes. It will be more than 70 dollars, but staying healthy is a lot more important than forking over a little more money.
If you mean XC spikes, lots of girls like Saucony Shay XC and Saucony Kilkenny XC 3. A few good guys shoes would be the Nike Forever XC 2 and adidas Cadence. They would be good, but it depends if the extra width is alright for you. All of those are under 70 bucks.

How to stop running shoes from squeaking?

I have a pair of running shoes that are about six months old; they aren't particularly worn out, but I find that part of the sole squeaks fairly consistently when running or walking on hard surfaces, even when the shoes aren't wet. Is there a way to stop this, or should I either live with it or buy a new pair of shoes?

hey i thought i was the only one. i have a pair of nike air coos that i bought about a year ago. within the first week, my right shoe started squeaking. then last week my left shoe started too. so i dunno why they do that. maybe its the quality of the shoe since this pair of shoes has been the worst i have ever bought. dont buy nike. im still using these crappy shoes but only for practice. i recently bought a pair of racing flats, saucony, and they are the best shoes ever! they are super light and really comfortable. they are of good quality and were only 40 bucks! my crappy nikes were almost 70! but i use my nikes during practice to get used to crappy shoes so that when i use my good shoes in races, ill be super fast
