-ballet pumps are an old classic and have to be warn well and are better for the preppy types but in terms of vogue fashion your better of with a pair of bright green or purple or white or black platform peep toe heels or some brown or black shoe boots with some light denim.
-if your into flats your better of with some lacoste or fred perry (although adidas do some) plimpsol type sneakers
-classic sneakers like adidas or other type things are always around
-clashing colours are in e.g flouro pink knee socks with bright green platforns
-socks and heels
-purple shoes
-lace heels

whats not:
-flat shoes are fading away
-clogs and crocs are a no go just burn them and run
-boots arent in to much just sawp for your shoe boots instead
- UGG BOOTS only for very very very very cold days and if your sloany there not in just sloan which is fine if your sloan but then to all of a sudden wear them is strange

Do you wear shoes or slippers at home.Or do you go bare foot or walk around in socks.Do you have a shoes off at the door house rule just for your family or does everyone have to remove their shoes in your house.Perhaps you are flexible and let people choose for themselves. If you have a shoes off rule,do you provide slippers for guests to wear or do they bring their own.It is increasingly popular nowadays to have a shoes off rule and also more socially acceptable. Why is that?Vogue magazine said that slippers were now the number one household accessory.Why has there been a sudden seachange to wearing slippers and also having shoes off house rules. Is there a class dimension to this area.In a very affluent part of the southeast of England the Guardian newspaper reported that it was the trend for mothers to wear their pyjamas and slippers in the car on the school run.But ultimately is it not just about personal choice to have a shoes off rule in the house.

I am always barefoot, indoors or outdoors. Haven't worn footwear of any kind for eleven years, and never regretted it.

But I don't require people to take off their shoes when they visit. I don't really like any shoe or footwear rules; it should be clear to anyone who reads these barefoot questions that there are people who're just as uncomfortable taking their shoes off as I would be wearing them. Why would I do that to them? A house is meant to be lived in, and my cats don't even wipe their feet when they come in. I have a sturdy carpet and a good vacuum cleaner, if I ever moved some place that had a fluffy white carpet it'd be the first thing to go! Only when someone would have very muddy shoes, I'd ask them to do something about it, but whether they take their shoes off or use the outdoor hose is up to them.
