I am self preoccupied for example I talk about myself all the time by using the word "I" in all my sentences like caring about my own interests, needs, and wants rather than others. I am also very manipulative. I've been manipulating people all my life ever since I was a child and I find it very fun to do. I don't care about others who give me sympathy as long as they give sympathy, admiration, and attention. I won't have to ignore them or get angry with them. I also have self entitlement for example I believe I deserve things because I deserve them like for example I believe I deserve to be called on first in class, get first in line, and many other things. I am also 18 years old

How To Spot The Toxic People In Your Life
Do you suspect you have a toxic friend, family member or partner in your life? Dr. Phil McGraw, author of the book "Life Code," says that the world is full of toxic people he calls BAITERs (Backstabbers, Abusers, Imposters, Takers, Exploiters and Reckless) and that evil people are all around us. The key to protecting yourself from BAITERs, the psychologist and talk show host says, is to know how to spot them.
In this clip from "Oprah's Lifeclass," Dr. Phil reviews eight characteristics of BAITERs -- red flags you need to know in order to identify those who are toxic. First on the list? Entitlement. "They have this air of arrogant entitlement," Dr. Phil says. "They really believe they're entitled to your life."
Another sign of a BAITER is that they lack empathy. "They don't have any feeling at all for what you're experiencing," Dr. Phil explains. "They don't know how to stand in someone else's shoes."
Running through the rest of the list, Dr. Phil points out several more characteristics of these toxic people: They don't have the ability to feel guilt, they are irresponsible, they thrive on drama, they brag about the last person they outsmarted, they've got a bunch of short-term relationships and, lastly, they are delusional.
Once you have identified a BAITER, you can protect yourself from getting harmed.

Donât want to be that way? Behavior comes down to habit, change your habits to change yourself. Thinking positively about oneâs self and doing what needs to be done (particularly when it is hard to do) can go a long way, and thinking positive thoughts is more effective than trying to suppress negative thoughts. âConscious parts of the brain train other parts of the neural machinery, establishing goals and allocating resourcesâ (Eagleman, âIncognito: The Secret Lives of the Brainâ). Establishing a habit to replace a habit that is the result of many years of practice is very difficult, particularly if it involves behavior that has become a character trait. If you start slow and gradually increase you will have a better chance of making it a habit. Of course, it will take 3 weeks or more to establish a replacement habit, and longer if it involves a firmly entrenched trait. One must commit to doing something they find difficult to do, and make gradual steps toward a goal (the psych concept of successive approximation).
Guided imagery is a common technique in improving athletic performance and in cancer treatment, among other things. It involves mentally picturing a specific image or goal and imagining oneself achieving that goal. Those with cancer are taught to imagine their bodies fighting cancer cells and athletes are taught to see themselves executing their stressful behavior with proper form.
